WTF? The looney liberal lefties in San Francisco have taken big brother government to a whole new level.

legislative proposal in San Francisco seeks to make ex-cons and felons a protected class, along with existing categories of residents like African-Americans, people with disabilities and pregnant women. If passed by city supervisors, landlords and employers would be prohibited from asking applicants about their criminal past.
Supporters say it's an effort to help former offenders get back on their feet, but critics call the concept a crime in itself.

The SF Human Rights Commission should be disbanded. The are the defacto SS of local govt. agencies. At the state level its the Dept of Fair Employment and Housing. I've already danced with them...to the tune of $24k. Just a pile of egomaniacal greenies flexing their law degree with no accountability.

I’m just curious to know if there are exemptions…say like a convicted child molester or pedophile applying for a job at an elementary school.
