Palin’s ‘Undefeated’ tanks, heads to Pay-Per-View
"The Undefeated," the documentary about Sarah Palin, appears to have suffered box office defeat.

The film opened in 10 locations last week and upped its exposure to 14 cities this weekend. But Reuters today reports that even as the number of screening venues increased, box office revenue has declined by more than 63 percent. It grossed only $24,000 this past weekend.

Unfortunately, there was no chance of my seeing this film as Lodi was not on the list of cities it played in. That's not surprising as there's usually a question of whether or not our multiplex will pick up movies I like. Heck, it was almost right up until opening day before I got a discrete word one way or the other whether they would pick up Winnie the Pooh. Getting something like Bad Teacher and Friends With Benefits is a no-brainer for them, but a wholesome movie? Not so much.

Winnie the Pooh isn't exactly as thematically wholesome as you might think. From a child's point of view, it's nothing but a story. But Milne (an atheist) did inject a lot of subtle adult themes into it including the not very religious view that once we die, we never see each other again (no afterlife)...

...did I ruin it for you? :kisswink:

Maybe I'm being naive here, but as much as Jon and I differ on politics, I don't belive I've seen him go off the deep left end as our two resident trolls. He might (and probably does) disagree with Sarah's politics, but I've never seen him talk as violently negative about her (or the rest of us conservatives) as the trolls.

Personally I'm scared shitless she'll run and get the nomination....purely from misreading the public perception of her. :ohno: :ohno:

Conks are perverted, closet homosexual, social darwinist, violent jesus fucks. You're the prime example, Dork.

IF she throws her hat in the ring, IMO it will take less than a week for her to shit and fall back in it irreparably damaging her chances in '12. I couldn't bring myself to vote for her now BEFORE she does anything else crazy. Aside from being attractive, she's way too batshit crazy for me to take seriously in a candidate - plus, I care much less about social conservatism vs. fiscal conservatism.

As Jack Nicholson memorably says in one of his priceless rants in As Good As It Gets: "Go sell crazy someplace else. We're all full up here."

Here's another one from the same movie: Female fan: "How do you write women so well?" Jack: "I think of a man, then I subtract reason and accountability."

THIS.

Much like Obama, she's been shown to be an empty suit. Only difference is, 90% of conks can and have admitted it with her, while donks still blindly suck Obama's dick while he derails the country even further.

The difficulty in figuring her support is that (as you have seen even on here) her support is fanatical, unconditional and WILDLY irrational.

She still polls in the running in most polls - and that's from the outside of the race. If she were to get in, I'm reasonably sure that her numbers would fall over time - but it's hard telling just how big her iron-clad support is.

Her "support" on here is one person. :tothehand:
