Paul to Focus on White House, not U.S. House

Representative Ron Paul announced today that he will not seek reelection to the House seat he has held for 24 years to put all his energy into a run for the White House...
The race for his House seat is considered a wide-open one with no favorite at this time...

Paul, 75, has run for the presidency three times, and cultivated a substantial following in the 2008 primary race running on the themes of limited government and less federal spending as well as personal liberties and a limited role in international conflicts.
