Seems like a reasonable dude. Says he admires Obama and it's about who has the better ideas, not who's the better American. Is it a smart tactic to try and beat Obama at his own game by rising above the fray or will it come off as weak, boring, and not enough red meat to get past the primary?

I saw the GMA segment this morning. Huntsman handled George Snuffleuppagus well, and he came across as a grownup. The GOP can't win by demonizing Obama personally, but it can win by attacking his policies -- or what passes as policies. Should be an interesting race!

Once the wack job honks start pinning him down on abortion it will be all over. It would be interesting to have a President who can kowtow to our economic masters in their own language.

Yeah, when it comes to minorities that it's acceptable to bash, I guess Mormons are the new fundamentalist Christians for the MSM.

No. By comparison Mormons seem to remain pretty silent about the goofier aspects of their faith. And it's not neccessary to bash fundies of any stripe, all you have to do is tape them opening their mouths.

But just out of curiosity, give us some examples of the MSM "bashing" either.

Read the article all the way to the bottom. First few paragraphs have typically hip "positive" things to say about Mormons and the musical, yadda yadda. the rest of the article disses them pretty good. Newsweek deserves to FAIL.
