Man, I wake up this morning and check to see how many pages of pure, unadulterated entertainment had been added to the Opie self-destruction thread.

Imagine my glee at seeing the guy threaten legal action where he had already 1) issued a challenge to a duel, and 2) made numerous posts that would be considered "fighting words" by a jury.

Then, I went to point out the fact that perhaps his poor understanding of the law is why he is currently working at a strip mall location and I then found that the thread was locked.

I'm sorry, Ibanez, but you must be flogged. You killed what was becoming the most epic thread on CS ever. You also killed my morning.

Opie's not smart enough to realize he left a trail of evidence a mile wide....he thinks he was above reproach in the whole exchange.

Dumb as he is, I have a feeling he knows he doesn't have anything close to a case. He probably just thought this was the only way to save any face (in his mind, at least) in this whole situation.

It is rather comical when someone new all high and mighty comes in and doesn't get the dynamics of the board and realize that the entire thing is an exercise in passing the time until football season and at the end of the day, we'd all just as soon get together and tap a keg together.

When someone comes in and actually takes themselves seriously, it's thread of the year material.....keep this thread for future reference when awards start getting handed out.
