That's Trump's only redeeming quality - he might have livened the Repub primary up a bit with some crazy batshit commentary. Speaking of batshit crazy, I wonder when Palin will announce?dbackjon wrote:ASUG8 wrote:Is ANYBODY upset about this?

I am. I wanted Trump, Backman, Palin and Paul to debate each other - would be very entertaining seeing Paul eat them alive.

See, I don't see that at all. I think he loves the fact that he got all this attention and got someone even as high up as the President to talk about him. He's all about PR and he got tons of PR by doing what he did. If there was any chance of Celebrity Apprentice (or any other version of Apprentice) going away, his little turn in the spotlight put that to bed - he'll be on TV for a few more seasons now thanks to this. His numbers have been pretty high through all of this - best ratings in 3 years.TwinTownBisonFan wrote:Messed with bull. Got horns. Lesson learned. FINALLY something I can agree with Wedgie about.Wedgebuster wrote:He is a cartoon.
He got his publicity - which ultimately was his real goal... I'm certain he was never serious about running for President - however, Obama swatting him away like a fly ended up being very good both for him, and for his supporters, who needed to be reminded he could still do that.GannonFan wrote:See, I don't see that at all. Besides, from the perspective of other GOP candidates, he was perfect - he stormed in, talked enough about the birther issue until Obama had to say something about it, and left. He took a potentially explosive topic that they would have to handle and get burned by and basically "threw himself on the political grenade". Positions on whether GOP'ers were birthers or not would've carried through the primaries - now it's a non issue.
And made BHO look silly in the processAZGrizFan wrote:BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

How many have been asked? Before the racists in the Republican Party started crying, none.
Obama bitched slapped all the birther loons, then did something Dumbya gave up trying to do (or never started doing) - find and bring Bin Laden to justice.
True. Did you see Millard Fillmore's ?Grizalltheway wrote:Apparently, only ones with funny names.bulldog10jw wrote:
