Christian churches in Pakistan have been under attack since at least this past weekend. Now, the reports are all saying that it has more to do with that crazy guy in Florida who has no business preaching his "version" of the Gospel, but you know the bin Laden deal is going to inflame passions.

If you're one for prayer, please keep those churches in mind. Also important are the ones damaged by that recent series of storms on the Gulf Coast, but the churches in PAK REALLY need some protection right about now.

If I prayed for people I don't know, my prayer would be for them to get the fok out of Pakistan if they want to practice their Christian religion. Or build enough churches so that the inevitable suicide bombing of each one will eventually result in lowering the population of PAK ove time.....yep, don't give a damn....

So, essentially what you're saying is that native Pakistanis who convert or are born into Pakistan are somehow required to LEAVE their homeland? That's the same thing as saying that everyone born in the US of German descent should be required to move back to Germany. Life doesn't work like that, dude.

Hey....I've thought about moving back to the Vaterland...Seriously.

I seriously can't do that, clenzy. I'm German both sides, but my second language is French. They'd kill me thirty seconds after I got off the plane.

In the part of Germany where I did an exchange trip in high school, kids starting learning French before they did English.

I think the guy in Florida shouls have urinated on the Koran, taken a video of it, and put it on Youtube. That would've been better.

I've actually thought about it. But there are two reasons why I wouldn't do it. The first is that I have a family and I have to be cognizant of their safety. The second is that I have no idea as to how to post a video to Youtube.

Really, I doubt that Youbute would allow it.

But how about let's have the National Endowment for the Arts fund somebody taking a photo of the Koran in a transparent beaker of urine and putting it in an exhibit? We could call it "Piss Koran" and it would be "art." That oughta' work.

BTW, it is not a "holy book." That's one thing we ought to get established right now. We should stop showing respect for Islam and acting as thought there's any value to it. And we should stop going along with the idea that the Koran is "holy."

If you want to go ahead and argue that we should do the same thing with Christianity and the Bible, fine. People can argue about that.

But all rational people ought to at least agree that Islam is whacked and the Koran is not "holy." It's the rantings of a bloodthirsty, delusional 6th century lunatic.
