The FACT that this information started the ball rolling to the eventual death of Bin Laden is not in dispute, although some will try to do so.

The FACT that President Obama made the closure of Gitmo one of his primary campaign promises right around the time that those detainees were giving up the intel that led to the death of Bin Laden is the very HEART of irony.

This situation is still fluid so the actual truth won't be known for sometime. The White House is constantly backing off initial claims about many of the details of this operation since Sunday, so just be a little patient.

We have gathered vast quantities of valuable information over the last decade through intensive interrogation tactics. It won't be a surprise to the more intelligent ones out there that much of this information was most probably gathered the same way.

Based on no evidence. You're just wanting to believe that torture led to Bin Laden. But, no one has shown any evidence of that.

I've posted evidence that it was standard interrogations that led to the information. But, somehow I'm the kool aid drinker and the one trying to spin this.
