Having to contribute the maximum allowed into a HSA, and still writing out a ck to the IRS for over 5K for income taxes.


This would have never happened had we not elected O-BOMBA-A President, and I would have gotten a refund instead of a bill.

Eh, not quite. The HSA simply lowers my taxable income, so in effect, I spent 6,100 to save about 1,500 more in income tax at my paultry 25% tax bracket..

Again, this could not have happened under the prior administration.

Sounds like you either purposefully stiffed them when filing your quarterlys, or you did not expect that 58K in bonus/capital gain last year.
