It's a sweet move politically and the gal has some real good values and is closer to true conservatism than McCain is. I could be wrong but I think this is a very wise move and in the next couple of weeks when this little gal starts getting he story told so that she becomes more main stream to the voters then I really think there is going to be a flood of voters rethinking their loyalties.

The fact that she is little known will also help the McCain camp dominate or take a good share of the news stories for a few week as well with the getting to know her aspect that is sure to follow.

I thought it'd be Romney, but I checked CNN and this is what I saw.
"She is a former mayor of Wasilla who became governor of her state in 2006 after ousting a governor of her own party in a primary and then dispatching a former governor in the general election."
That might hurt her. Democrats can use that lack of expierence and throw it in the Republicans faces. Also, the debates will have to be extremely, sensitive. You have to choose between a Black and White man, or a White man and White woman.

Obama has dealt with foreign politics and the Washington machine more than she has. But you're right, just like Clinton, he has little experience(which isn't always a bad thing).
Besides, all the democrats have to do is say, "Lincoln had the same about of experiece and he was a Republican".

Her husband is Todd Palin, an oil production operator on Alaska's North Slope. They have five children, including a son who enlisted in the Army last year.
Congressional Quarterly notes Sarah Palin's other past occupations, including commercial fishing company owner, outdoor recreational equipment company owner and sports reporter.

The river boat gambler in me thinks this is great. I think she's a real solid, quality person and politician as well.

Ha.
On April 18, 2008, Palin gave birth to her second son, Trig Paxson Van Palin, who has Down syndrome. She returned to the office three days after giving birth
That is going to get twisted around, I can see it now.

It's great, the broad is good looking even if she has plopped a basketball four times and gave them granola head names. Ol' John ain't no dummy, he has her to chase around, and the the old beer bag to pay the bills.
He croaks in office, and we have a hot pres heading for a 2012 bitch slapping contest with Hillary. It don't get no better than this, even on the TV!

Lets see....Palin vs Geena Davis. I'll take Palin.
