To be honest, both boards are probably good and which one is better depends on your perspective.

IMO, there is less listening and more shouting on AGS and the ribbing is more vitriolic than here.

There are a lot more Trumplorables on AGS. Posters like GIL are considered rational and relatively moderate here while I would guess that he is considered liberal on AGS. 89 is (or was - hopefully, he comes back) considered one of CS's conservative posters. He would probably be considered a RINO on AGS. The conservatives here have a much greater libertarian perspective than the conservatives on AGS.

I haven’t been on that Poli board in years. Even to kibitz. But the football talk is better over there, once you get by the Ungulate Hordes from the American Steppe.

I joined AGS in 2006, and was sick of it within a couple years because of those asshole liberal mods Ralph, Syntax Error, and 1 or 2 others. They'd get in a pissing contest with you, and if you said something they disagreed with, they'd censor you an give you strikes or whatever it was.. As I vaguely recall they banned me at least once fora period, and I was close to it numerous other times. Fuck them- I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire..Think it was 2009 when AGS shutdown, I came over here.

The only problem with here is the football discussion was really good for the 1st 3-4 years or so through 2012 or 2013, but has dwindled to less an less each year for the last 7-8 years..

Well I can't argue that one way or the other because I haven't been on AGS's poli board in I guess 11 years. I went on the football board occasionally during the last couple of seasons, posted a handful of times, because the football discussion on here for some reason is severely lacking. That doesn't make any sense, because this is suppose to be, 1st and foremost, a FCS football message board..But I can't stand being on the AGS football board more than occasionally, because I find it to be one giant NDSU circle jerk for national, and even for CAA threads..So football wise you have a choice between a lack of discussion on here, or an NDSU circle jerk on AGS. You can't win.

There’s a solid core of CAA* folks on here, BDK. Don’t be discouraged! Go on a mission to improve the CS football chatter.

And the few NDSU people on here (Gil and Winterborn, mostly) are good dudes. So that’s another plus!
