Keep on trucking. Some progress is being made. A new test is coming soon tgat takes minutes. Testing accuracy needs to be improved. See Gil’s post.

Economic bailouts would be good too. Continued mortgage and lease extensions (commercial and residential) backed by the Fed to also protect landlords.
Or, we could just reopen the fucking country. :coffee: :coffee:

But hey, what's 4-5 trillion more in bailouts/"stimulus" piled onto the national debt at this point, amirite?
Hey! Look, everyone! The debt it’s important again! Must be time to cut taxes soon!

We should open, but there are a lot of people out there that don't care about protocol, so then the government gets involved.

It interrupted the economy of the USA, most entertainment and sports industries. JMU isn't playing football this fall because of it. All we had to do is wear mask, social distance and wash hands, and we could have had a fall football season. People like you didn't care enough.
Wrong. All we had to do is do what IA conferences in the mostly red states did, and we could have had a football season. The 1st ones to cancel were in the most mask wearing, physically distancing states..
Wrong, it wasn't who cancelled first and who wore the most masks, it was how much covid continued to spread because too many were not wearing mask and social distancing.

Again wrong, all we had to have is not a bunch of spineless govs and college presidents, and we could have had a fall football season just like the SEC, ACC, BIg 12, Sun Belt, etc...It had nothing to do with wearing masks, physically distancing, and washing hands..

Wrong again, if people had followed protocol, the decision would not have been up to the college presidents and spineless govs. It was all about mask, social distancing and washing, and people did not do that, and we ended up with more cases and the bureaucracy took charge.

Wrong again, because look at the conferences that are playing in states that didn't follow so called protocol..

South Dakota and Wisconsin are the states that followed protocol the least.

They haven't been for football. The courts didn't say they had to play college football on time.
They aren't one of the opening on time (Green) states for HS football.

Green States = Going forward with football season as scheduled (12)
Yellow States = Delayed Season, but having fall football (23)
Red States = Delayed until at least 2021 (15)

That's what happens when the schools and gov get involved because people don't follow protocol. It's so simple, yet so complicated.

Well, it becomes a bit more important when you pile $7 TRILLION onto it for an avoidable reason. No? :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

Wrong again, naturally. NDSU just sent out emails, changing attendance for Saturday's game, from 8000+, to player families.

Avoidable? You mean trumps tax cuts, or the war in Iraq, or?

Every war is avoidable. And yes, when you increase spending unnecessarily by $7 Trillion to placate the masses (would be $10 Trillion if dems had their way), then it's avoidable. Oh, and shut down the economy so revenue drops even FURTHER.

Now do Texas, California, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, etc., etc., etc.

And if you don’t adjust those graphs for the testing numbers, they don’t mean shit.

Wisconsin has 3x more active cases than Minnesota, and 500,000 less test than Minnesota.
