Not very libertarian to give puberty blockers or perform genital mutilation on children. Or in sports allow men to compete against women

You could argue that it is very libertarian to let people be themselves and make their own decisions.

No that would not be the same logic. A person being themselves doesn't hurt or really infringe upon others. Beating a kid or having sex with a minor hurts someone else and infringes upon their rights.

Between what the GOP did to whistleblowers under the Trump administration and what's happening now to supposed whistleblowers under this administration, it's a wonder that anyone legitimate will ever step up again. If I found myself working in government and I saw something that wasn't good, even I'd have second thoughts about coming forward and saying something. Almost best to just keep your head down and just collect your paycheck. Or just not work in government in the first place. In that world, then, the only whistleblowers would truly be the politically ambitious or interested. Strange times indeed.
