A homeless man dumped a bucket of “hot” diarrhea on a Los Angeles woman near the Hollywood Walk of Fame — an unprovoked attack that’s left her with PTSD, she said this week.

No. He was stoned and had to walk across it to buy a bag of Doritos. Killed his buzz it took so long.

Oracle will move its annual OpenWorld conference to Las Vegas because San Francisco is too expensive

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/10/oracle- ... forum.html
Oracle is moving its annual OpenWorld conference from San Francisco to Las Vegas and it signed a three-year agreement with the Caesars Forum for the move.

The San Francisco Travel Association estimates the move will cost San Francisco $64 million a year.

The travel group told members that Oracle cited San Francisco’s high hotel prices and “poor street conditions” as reasons that attendees were unhappy with the city.

Of the 345,547 ammunition background checks performed, only 101 stopped the buyer because he or she was a “prohibited person” who can’t legally possess ammunition, according to state Department of Justice data.

Yet another 62,000 ammunition purchases were rejected as well. Those people left empty-handed because their personal information hadn’t been entered into the state’s system, or the information on their identification cards didn’t match what officials had entered into the California gun registry database, which retail sellers must review when they do the ammunition background check.

Course this might not be overturned in the lib CA courts, but it will in the Fed Courts..

691,145 Californians left last year. What states did they go to?

Probably not "okay", but it makes sense if aisle 10 is where the toilet paper is stocked. If not, that's fucked up. :coffee:

California is perfectly American. Shit on aisle 10 in the land of milk and honey.

I was watching football the other day and there was a Walmart commercial immediately followed by a Mercedes commercial selling $80,000 cars for Christmas.

I'm all for giving a former slave money.

I haven't read this article but wasn't Cali a free state that joined in the 1850s? Is this anything other than feel good legislation?

It's a bill to begin a study.

California should first concentrate on the displaced natives (the ones that survived the CA Genocides).

They'll be competing with illegals for the handouts. Good luck with that.

Does CA have to file a lawsuit against Spain to get some of that money back? I mean, Spain did spend 200-300 years before us taking care of what would be CA.

Gas tax in Cali going up by another 3 cents or so. This puts it over 50 cents a gallon now.

PA at 77.1 cents per gallon gets bumped out of 1st place by CA.

CA total gas taxes now 79 cents per gallon, (60.6 cents state/18.4 cents fed) highest in the nation.

MO is lowest at 35.82 cents.
