He didn’t just just mix up TV and radio. FDR wasn’t the POTUS during the 29 crash. And he wasn’t mixing anything up, but rather making stuff up.

He was off on mass TV by 25+ years, and he had the wrong POTUS by 4 years, who wasn’t even in office till 1933.

The equivalents:
-When President Roosevelt did a fireside radio chat about the 1898 Spanish-American War. (McKinley was POTUS and radio wasn’t in mass use till the 1920s..
-When Reagan did an online live stream about the fall of the Soviet Union at the end of 1991..

That is at least as bad as mixing up scocialism/communism with facism..
