I like him OK but I don't think he's got the telegenicity and voice for it. Sad to say but that's what US politics have come down to. It's not really about substance anymore.

She was more qualified and probably more intelligent than the current President is. Sorry, but if you had to bet that's what you should bet.

The guy we have as President now is totally unqualified for the job. Palin would at least have SOME clue. Obama does not. He's a complete disaster and the fact that the United States population would vote for somebody like that does not portend well for the future of the United States.

Well perhaps you should note that it's paraphrased next time or you'll be hearing from my attorney. Remember, I'm a 1%'er and I can afford a really good lawyer.

You need to try harder. Yes, workforce is going down. It is called baby-boomers are retiring. Get some CORRECT graphs. Ask Jelly for help
Using that logic, there actually should be a labor shortage and the participation rate should be falling...dramatically. If baby boomers are actually retiring, then Gen X'ers should be filling those positions and there are many many more baby boomers (65 million) than there are from Generation X (41 million).

Hey, and if this Obama economy is booming as you say  , the labor shortage should be even more dire...you know, with all the robust job growth an all.

Try again. :dunce:

If every Gen X'er filled in for every baby boomer... there would be 18 million less people working. (65-41... I'm going with the numbers you posted because I'm too lazy to check them atm).

If there are 18 million less people working - the labor participation rate plummets. Do you understand how this works yet?

Try again. :dunce:

There is both a labor shortage and a low participation rate...

Wrong. The guy is unflappable and a good speaker.
I have heard him a few times and to me it sounds like he has this affectation to his voice - sort of that Kennedy-esque monotone.

I don't know - I think that after a few years that would start to annoy me

But I do think he is the best of the GOP field right now - even if that means the "least bad"

Maybe he would be a corporatist neocon just like Hillary - but without the Clinton sleaze?

Thank you for that opinion from the left-wing editors of USA Today. :jack:

The problem with your flawed logic is that in order for there to be a "plummeting" participation rate due to retiring boomers, there needs to be a shortage of labor. There isn't. Not even close.

From the June 2015 BLS labor report.
Among the marginally attached, there were 653,000 discouraged workers in June, essentially unchanged from a year earlier. (The data are not seasonally adjusted.) Discouraged workers are persons not currently looking for work because they believe no jobs are available for them.
Keep trying. :dunce: :dunce:

A guy that was kicked out of a college where he was only carrying a 2.3 gpa in spite of cheating every day is a natural for the republican candidacy. I hope he doesn't continue to spend all his time getting even with teachers just because he was stupid enough to get caught cheating. :ohno:

I'd be curious to see that too

I doubt Flyover has info that millions of dollars worth of Clinton oppo research wouldn't have already uncovered, but you never know

Even a blind spandos finds a nut once in a while

BTW I didn't set the world on fire with my grades either but I run mental circles around houndawg so much that if my mother knew about it she'd smack me for being cruel to the deaf and dumb
