She's extremely qualified and people love her in a cabinet role but when they start thinking about her as President all of the warts (haughty and crusty personality) and baggage (Bill is a double-edged sword) will come out and her campaign will sink.
The polling on Hillary doesn't back that up (neither does it on Bill)

What the polling tells us about Hillary is that her personality is seen predominantly as "strong leader" - THE critical metric in winning a national election. Her numbers among women (not surprisingly) are through the roof and her numbers among men are MUCH stronger than you'd think.

Her numbers among men over 40 are bad - (as are all Dems) but under 40... she's perhaps the most popular political figure in America.

The ONLY thing that stops her in 2016 is her decision not to run. If she wants it - it's hers for the taking (the Dem nomination that is)

Not so fast on the Clinton 16 campaign

The unlikelihood of President Hillary - She's most popular at a distance from the White House

The public seems to like Hillary a lot better when she's far removed from the presidency. The closer she gets the more distrust she evokes. When she ran in 2008, her popularity sagged. That's how she managed to lose a nomination that most people assumed was hers for the taking.

She is easier for people to take in the role of diplomat than politician. When she lectures dictators at the United Nations, voters tend to approve. When she lectures audiences in Iowa, they tend to bristle.

I, personally, am doing fine. It's not ME I'm worried about. It's a country being run by people who have no care for the people they govern, only in maintaining, increasing and strengthening their grip on power and money. And FYI, I watch more CNN than Fox. :kisswink:

Eight hours. That's how long the attack lasted. That is almost how long they were calling for air support. That is almost how long they were sending out real-time communications to CIA, DoS, DoD, Africom and that big-ass carrier battle group we had in the Med. Those folks are simply going to hell.

It is the dyed in the wool republicans that are going to hell in a handbasket.

Big difference there I bet, but I won't be finding out since everybody knows I am not a dyed in the wool republican.

I feel sorry for Z and all though, handbaskets sound awfully cramped.

Disgusting all the way around. No excuse for allowing an ambassador to get offed. No excuse for not sending anyone to save their asses in the time it took for the islamists to finally kill them. Also no excuse for the board/politicians not being more pressing during this thing. No excuse for Hillary not owning up to this (the buck stops at her desk on this). After all that, I hate to say it but Hillary completely turned the tables during this thing and embarrassed the Repubs yet again. Repubs just can't get anything right, wafj they have really become. They are getting pwned at every turn and it isn't even funny anymore, its just embarrassing.

No, it is still funny, in a Keystone Cops kind of way of way.... getting slapped around by girls must take these guys back to their grade school playground days.

Once again the Republicans revert to their traditonal brand of miserable failure in their desperate attempt to appear relevant. :coffee:

Alas, going off half-cocked in these situations rarely has the desired outcome. See Desert 1, WMD, Lebannon, etc...cooler heads prevailed and likely saved a much higher body count by avoiding walking into a trap.

All this feeble attempt at the blame game did was point out how embarrassingly inept certain Republican senators are. Anybody think that asscclown from VA will get reelected after the pimp-slapping Hillary gave him?
