ucdtim would likely be the best POC, but I don't believe that the Manure Pile's new stadium is done yet.

Re: Beckham
No futbol player is worth that kind of $$. Not even Pele, the best in history. There's only one athlete worth that: the immortal Danny White. And THAT's only if he's tripling as QB, P, and HC.

Re: FCS Stadium Competition
Are you intending this to be regularly playoff-eligible schools only? I find it hard to believe that these stadia, with the POSSIBLE exception of WA-Griz (not even sure about that) can beat the upper Ivies.

What does this say for Rob Bowen, who's now on his third team this year (Friars, Cubbies, F's) via two trades? Does ANYBODY really want this guy?AppGuy04 wrote:Cubs just traded for Jason Kendall, probably the most overpaid catcher in the game, ugh!

This discussion is useless. The "real" record is 868 home runs. I doubt that Bonds, A-Rod, etc., will pass that.

Exactly, BigApp. The books are just a bunch of B(C)$ whores. They'll not likely have odds on ANYTHING like that. They don't think it'll sell.

Re: Aaron or Bonds: Who's your home run king?
Forget both of them. I'll take Ruth and Mays over the both of them because they were more versatile. Aaron and Bonds (especially Bonds since about 1997 or so) are just one-trick ponies. Ruth pitched and Mays could run a whole lot more than Aaron or Bonds could. Heck, I'll take Bonds' dad over him. I...

Good to see a Liberty guy here. You're not by any chance the guy who posts on eGriz as Grizz_Broncs_Flames, are you? In any event, I'm a Liberty Distance Learning Program student majoring in religion. It's been fun, even if a couple of "older" video teaching professors ("older" a...

Wowsers! You're up way past your bedtime, VictorG! :) Tell me about it. Just got home from a wedding. Darn near caught a garter belt in my mouth while I was yawning! But since it's the boards 1st day, let stay on topic..as I said before....BSC Griz fan. Don't think anything of almost snagging that ...

Re: FCS Stadium Database
Thanks, Mr. T. That shot is much better than the one I found, anyway. For the rest of you, I'm sure you can see (if only barely) the "temporary" nature of the bleachers. I'd much rather have a cement bowl, but of course, the powers that be won't listen to a vertically challenged former att...

Good to see a Dutchman here. One of my teammates at UOP (Gio Carmazzi) transferred to Hofstra after we gave up the ghost in '95. He took the Flying Dutchmen to the playoffs a couple of times before being the only one of us 6 Tiger QBs to be drafted (3rd round, '9ers). Unfortunately, there was an int...

Re: National Champs in 2007.
The NCAA will probably screw this up like they did for Big West baseball this year, but I'd like to see a Montana-PSU final. UM takes it.
Sac will get there in about 4-5 years if the new coaching staff works out. But not now.
