Re: Men's Big Sky Tournament Thread (2023)

Good to see the Hornets avoid the first round. I like our Weber draw, we lost both games but either one could have gone our way. If we can scratch by Weebs, we match up with MSU well too. We'll see if the Hornets can show up in Boise.

Hoping for an entertaining F1 season this year. With the teams a going on year 2 of the new rules, I'm hoping the midfield sees a lot of action.

Russia is proving it is NATO that is not ready. Russia's been fighting a war of attrition on Ukraine. The US and the UK are low on inventory. Re: The Ukraine Crisis

If you think that's clever, consider why the breadbasket of Ukraine is so full of Russian speakers to begin with. Soviets starved out millions of Ukrainians and resettled Russians to replace them. The Holodomor. If only the USSR would have implemented Communism the right way, none of that would hav...

Local radio station is in contact with an Iowan that lives in Ukraine and is a farmer there. They usually talk to him 1-2 times a week. Interesting to hear his take on what is going on. In the last one I caught he was talking about how he just finished his harvest and how a lot of farmers are strug...

Nah, Ukraine isn't my fight. I couldn't care less how many Ukrainians and Russians die in this war. Hornets snag a share of the WBB title. First D1 conference title. Amazing run and well deserved. Men on the other hand limp into the BSCT after squandering a solid start to the season. Oddly enough, the matchup with Weebs isn't a bad draw for us considering how close our games with them have ...

Re: 2022-23 Big Sky Basketball Season

Hornet women keep rolling with a strong 82-74 win at home against EWU. Decent crowd at the Nest this afternoon. On the men's side, the Hornets came roaring back from a large deficit and got some late game heroics from Chappell, but EWU escapes with a late shot for the 75-78 win. Both Hornet teams ar...
