Re: 2020 General Election
16-year-old girl shot and killed in the capitol.
So is this where we resume protesting police brutality or does that only count for grown-ass men like Jacob Blake who threaten police with a knife?

Re: 2020 General Election
I wonder how many "Boycott the Election" folks ended up boycotting and if it was enough to give Ossoff the win. Grand strategery. I'll say it even though it'll put me in the minority of Purdue and Loeffler voters...Mitch McConnell messed up by not just going with the $2000 stimulus checks...

Re: 2020 General Election
Some notes about the Georgia runoff. I think Purdue will beat Ossoff by at least a point but the Loeffler-Warnock race is more unclear. Loeffler was appointed by the governor and has never really had a to fight for a seat in congress, and it shows. She's just too robotic and from what I've seen peo...

If any threatening right-wing populist or Trumpist emerges in the primaries, the GOP will spend unprecedented money trying to make sure so ho-hum guy like Marco Rubio wins.

Re: Can CCU get in?
I'm not an advocate for the idea undefeated G5s must get in over not-undefeated P5s. That said, Iowa State being over Coastal in the CFP rankings is a joke. The Big 12 went 0-3 against the Sun Belt. IMO if you're a P5 and you do that you forfeit any NY6 at large bid.

Another reason I laugh when people say the right is the side of anti-democratic inclinations. Complete lunacy.

Re: The Republican Base
There are Republicans that oppose Trump because of who he is, and there are others who are pissed off they didn't get the consummate defeat of the GOP they wanted that might allow neocons and globalists to regain power in the GOP.

The internet wouldn't be nearly as big of a problem if the mainstream media didn't completely suck and destroyed their own credibility over decades.

Re: Who Gives & Who Takes: The Government Tit
What's shocking about it? A lot of rich people live in the Northeast, so thanks to a progressive tax structure they pay more in taxes. Places that have a lot of federal government activity (Virginia and Maryland for instance, but also a lot of places down South where we have a fair amount of milita...

Watching the Senate debate on GPTV between Kelly Loeffler and Raphael Warnock. God Loeffler is so robotic and has used 2 or 3 phrases like 100 times. I'll probably still have to vote for her, though.

I was struggling to come up with that one. Poor guy took a beating. I would like to proudly stand up and state that I was the very first one who called him on his fuzzy math. 21/3=6.93. That was his answer to the math problem. He defended it to the HILT....fucking retard. And yes, it was on h...

This could be the most mis-remembered item of all time on CS. I found threads here that say it was done on an ISU site, which obviously isn't true because we all saw it. Z, in that same thread you claimed you were the first to make a 6.93 thread here. Meaning it had to have been AGS where it ...

Re: The Republican Base
The scales have fallen from my eyes over the past 5 years. The problem we have in this country is that the Republican base is largely composed of the kind of people that allowed for things like Hitler and Mussolini consolidating power in the 20th century. We have learned that the Republican base is...

And? Am I supposed to be somehow offended or threatened by this? Do you not see an irony that the people that think they know the only path to racial reconciliation are the ones claiming that traditional western values are "white" values? Come on, take a minute to think about it rather th...
