Re: The Official "Making America Woke Again" Thread
If only Democrats could be concerned about those concentration camps as they are that they might lose the right to kill a viable newborn that survives an abortion.

Question: Can anyone name a time when gun control legislation paid off politically for Democrats? Ever? And on top of that it's the same old policy positions that won't amount to a mosquito fart in a hurricane. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2021/02/14/statement-by-the-...

Re: Trump Impeachment Part Duex
Glad it's over. Trump is still an asshole. Lets move on. His acquittal all but assures we won’t be moving on. It’s officially still the party of Trump and the Dems are still officially the party of the establishment. I'd argue it was decided to move on the moment the closing argument started and De...

Re: Trump Impeachment Part Duex
Dems balked on bringing forward wtinesses because it's a politically-motivated show-trial that reached the end of its political usefulness. Well-deserved acquittal from such a sham trial.

Re: Cancel Culture thread
My advice to the right... 1). Destroy the cult of Trumpism by defanging its leader first. 2). Honestly embrace real populism that engages the disenfranchised working class through policies that increase economic security. 3). Appeal to moderates at every turn. Trump won the 2016 moderate vote in st...

Every grown person I know who grew up in a real large family (granted not all that many) has 1 or 2 siblings they're real close to and 1 or 2 they have little contact with with the rest being in the middle. It's not that hard for me (not someone from a big family) to fathom, honestly.

You probably could've more easily phased this out 25 years ago. Now it's just going to be tone deaf and the Mavs franchise will get exactly what it deserves.

I agree with the premise of the article - we have an incredible number of dumb people in this country. Granted, we've always had an incredible number of dumb people in this country, but perhaps we're at a tipping point and the few smart folks we do have aren't enough to keep us from falling into th...

The point is that the entrenched do not want the masses knowing how to invest, borrow, calculate interest, budget, etc. Their wealth relies on manipulating these ignorances. Apple would be hurt if people didn't upgrade their phones as often or bought budget phones or used phones. Credit card compan...

Everyone knew American democracy wouldn't end with Trump except for liberal scholars living in a bubble and leftist wackos. It's pointless to try and compare "threat to democracy" from both sides. But if I have to choose between Trump ostensibly trading weapons for political favors versus ...

It's real easy to say you're done with a major party until you figure out the only other options are going to the other major party or for third parties that cant top 5% of the popular vote. I always voted Republican in national elections because I tried to pick what I viewed as the lessor of two e...
