Re: 'This is their new hoax'
It wouldn't surprise me if some whackjob(s) on the left suggest Trump is faking it, doesn't have the China Virus, is doing this to gain sympathy, and to come out campaigning & doing rallies in 10 days saying how he beat the virus.. Nah. There is no reason for anyone to question the president's ...

Re: Pac 12: Wait up you guys!
Each Sun Belt school gets about half a million in TV money a year and over a million from the CFP. You forfeit both of those with no season. That's not boatloads of cash, most of which will be wiped away with the testing protocols and such. Not to mention lower revenues at the gate. If Sun Belt and...

FBI saying antifa is real. https://twitter.com/RitaPanahi/status/1311599868897447936 You don't think that there's any risk here that a protest against fascism in the future could lead to an open interpretation of ties to a terrorist organization? Again, I'm not defending ANTIFA. I am pondering the ...

Re: POTUS Debate #1
Here's an honest question for the board that I've been wrestling with. Do you think this will continue to be a country where you can openly protest what you consider to be fascist policies and authoritarianism? Do you think an organized (peaceful) protest will exist without being labeled ANTIFA? Th...

No, we don't ignore them. But I guess I don't see how saying Antifa is an idea (or ideology) is approval. Failing to denounce them is a cop-out and empowers them which is tacit approval. My guess is that followers of Antifa (or BLM) don't really care for Biden but he is the much lesser of two evils...

Proud Boys, stand back and stand by. But I’ll tell you what somebody’s got to do something about Antifa and the left because this is not a right wing problem this is a left wing.

Re: POTUS Debate #1
This is true. But only one person on that stage could have corrected it, and that was Trump. Really? He could correct Biden interrupting him?  UNI88 made my point more elaborately above. Trump undoubtedly drove the tone and style of that 'debate.' It's clearly a tactic. And I was hopef...

Is that like a Midwest insider joke? Did Minnesota once beat 'Bama in a bowl game or something? Did they win national titles sometime after that? How's ethanol doing these days? :coffee: Looks like Minny beat a 6-5 Alabama in a 2004 bowl game... a year after Bama went 4-9 while losing to Hawaii, No...

Re: POTUS Debate #1
Wallace tried but without being able to turn off Trump's mic that debate was almost impossible to moderate.Trump was the classroom bully that refused to listen so the teacher needed to call the office to send security to take him away. Chuck Barris is dead so maybe Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, Sal...

Re: POTUS Debate #1
It's going to be tense. So much interrupting one another and drawing closer and closer while a confused Chris Wallace looks at each of them back and forth. They'll get almost face to face. A palpable tension will cut the air at Case Western Reserve like a knife. Trump will raise his hand slowly, gen...

Well, this is an interesting move in response to your earlier question about how Gov Brown and Ted Wheeler will handle this. Gov Brown hijacked authority here by deputizing PPB to get around the stifling restrictions Ted Wheeler's put on them, without putting the backlash from the left back on Whee...
