Re: The Official "Making America Great Again" Thread

Looks like Trumps Susan B Anthony pardon trollbait is working as planned. Oh and nevermind that now the Marxists are trying to cancel her. https://twitter.com/LtGovHochulNY/status/1295721863340077082 You need to quit acting like Trump is smart. He is not. He's where he is because, unfo...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5y8QA1wCcc&feature=emb_logo They're setting themselves up for failure using that line. You could get plenty of clips of Biden nowadays showing scenes like that ad shows as Biden in the past and you could get clips from the past showing Biden stumbling at times. The ...

I hate to admit I'm watching it but so far I think they are doing a good job with respect to what they need to do. It's a pretty slick production. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to what the Republicans do. The Republicans do have the advantage of having the Democrats go first.

Meanwhile, Fascism in New Zealand is trending. :coffee: https://twitter.com/business/status/1295121524026998784?s=20 But it’s perfectly OK if the Left does it. I don't think this is a left/right thing. Opposition parties requested the delay. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/08/17/new-zealand-elec...

https://twitter.com/EWErickson/status/1294383186571558914 Not even close. Trump clearly IS gumming up the post office and there is reasonable basis for thinking that he's doing it to impact the election. There is polling suggesting that Democrats are far more likely to vote by mail this time than R...

Interesting strategy... https://twitter.com/tomselliott/status/1294311454439550976 Well can you imagine him standing up there and trying to answer questions? Biden does fine answering questions. Not that he never screws up. Everybody does. But he's obviously not suffering from cognitive issues. I t...

Re: The Official "Making America Great Again" Thread

Thanks for teaching me a new word. Yes I would give up my current right to vote and it's not just Trump. He's the worst thing so far but not the only thing. If I want to vote I could just get a Masters. It'd take a couple of years. I could either do one I"m interested in or I could pick an easy one...

Amend the Constitution or STFU Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk We don't need to amend the Constitution. Well...we could get rid of electing Presidents via an Electoral College but that's a different issue. With respect to the role of the Presidency we just need for Congress to re-assert itself. ...

I would say that it is also a contributing factor. I haven't studied this in detail but I think poverty explains a lot but not all of the statistics. A culture that glorifies violence is another factor but probably not the only one. I think this is indicative of where things are right now but not p...

Re: The Official "Making America Great Again" Thread

That is fine. I can tell from looking at exit polling results that this would be a better country if only people with graduate degrees could vote. The impact on me is irrelevant. If I want to vote I can get a graduate degree. So, you are saying that you’d disenfranchise yourself to get Trump out of...

Re: The Official "Making America Great Again" Thread

We should get rid of the Presidency. A singular person with that much power, Constitutional or not, is a ridiculous concept. It's more ridiculous when the position is voted through an electoral college system. I'm fine with having a Chief Executive of the Executive Branch. What I have a problem is ...

It's a reasonably close call but he's in good shape physically. I think that, even though he's a little older than Trump, if you had to bet on which one croaks first you would have to bet on Trump. Trump is a blob. He's not in good condition at all. Biden makes an effort to stay in shape by running,...

I've already seen people like Al Sharpton, James Clyburn, and Joy Reid raving about the pick. Good god. Theyv’e bought into the fear porn.
And you've bought into the irrational denial complex. My wife's 91 year old mother who has heart issues lives with her. She is the care giver. She absolutely cannot afford to become infected. And she also wants to be able to see her grand children.

Re: Coronavirus COVID-19

The times we live in. Today my 4 year old grand daughter has sore throat and fever. Her Dad brought her to an urgent care place. I'm checking texts. My daughter texts, "IT'S STREP Thank god!!!" My son texts "Where on earth did she get that? That's good though!" My wife texts "Thank you FATHER!!"
