Re: Coronavirus COVID-19

That's kind of ironic. :coffee: I know dozens who’ve had it. A couple who were hospitalized. One died. At least one with pronounced long haulers. Mostly those who play loose with protocols but a few who were pretty damn good including several teachers and school aged kids. It was tongue-in-cheek an...

Neither Floyd or Wright should have died but I'm not sure the cases are comparable. The officers had Floyd under control, when Wright broke away and went into his car the threat level was much higher than with Floyd. Cops may train for that kind of thing but how often does it actually happen? I have...

Your surrender is accepted. FTR, the New Deal did some good things and some bad things. FDR was kind of like Reagan in that regard. :coffee: How can I surrender if I won this (whatever it is) numerous posts ago? :suspicious: But nice troll. It must suck for you to have to see Reagan’s damage ...

No, that doesn't happen.
SKKKJellly drastically oversimplified the stimulus to "we inject money into the economy when it is floundering" so I corrected it so that it more accurately represented what the stimulus bills have really been.

Please explain how they're "leaps". Regardless of what one thinks about the New Deal, the irony of how well an editorial cartoon from 1934 applies to government in 2021 is interesting. Jelly doesn't appear to want to acknowledge that so he'd rather act like his Wonder Twin BDkkk, and dist...

Who pays for the hotel room, room service, etc. during mandatory quarantine in the UK?
Travelers coming into the UK from Red Listed countries pay 1750 pounds for their quarantine.
So this clown paid 1,750 quid for a hotel room and food and didn't use it?

Then we should ignore Jelly's weak attempt to deflect from the points the cartoon scores in today's environment by criticizing the points it was making in 1934.
