Re: App State fans, help please.
If it is not televised, you can definitely watch online at GoASU.com. Not sure if they'll do it by the game or make you get a 1-month pass but worst case, it will be $10 and the stream quality is solid.

Re: Payton finalists announced
Whatever. Edwards doesn't need excuses. If Quick is in, he should be in...other than the fact that's he's not 6'5", plays in a pass happy conference, his team passes more, etc. You are making excuses for why Quick was selected. Not convincing Quick was selected because he is a great player. Ed...

Re: Payton finalists announced
Armanti also won Championships smart guy... and when did I say Quick was bad? Quick was great in the game against Montana. The question was how did he get ADDED to the list over another (IMO) more deserving player. Well, I gave my opinion. Please try and tell me that The Sports Network, with Mr. C ...

Absolutely, that is the only reason Armanti won two of them. That kid was GARBAGE!mlbowl wrote: Not crying at all...I get it. he was placed on the list by the ASU Sports Network.
Did Aaron Mellette from Elon get any votes? That kid is a monster.

Re: Payton finalists announced
It's ok Lehigh's Will Rackley didn't get an invite last year either and he is the only rookie starter in the NFL this year from the FCS Actually, he is now the second. It was due to an injury, but Appalachian State's D.J. Smith will now be starting at MLB for the Packers as a rookie! He is a great ...

Re: Payton finalists announced
That Quick isn't any more talented than Edwards. But Edwards has substantially better numbers this year. Edwards is an excellent receiver but Quick is the more talented. He is going to be the first FCS player drafted for a reason. At 6-5, 220 lbs. with his leaping ability, he is a match-up nightmar...

Re: How Many MVFC Teams Survive The Round of 16?
I'm going with 1. NDSU should take care of JMU but I think UNI is going to have their hands full with the ankle-biters.

Re: Maine at App State Game Thread
ASU has had such strong offensive lines over the last half decade that most teams outside of our conference that do not see us play likely assume it is strong again. We are not terrible up front but very inconsistent. We've had injuries and 2 linemen (including our starting left tackle) leave the te...

Re: Game of the week - Round of 16
I begrudgingly picked Wofford vs. UNI as well. I am most excited about the ASU vs. Maine game obviously but from an objective view, that is probably the most intriguing match-up. UNI has looked good all season and Wofford seemed to be in the hunt for a seed until a couple of stinkers against Furman ...
