It's just habit. Division II fans and community prefer D2 over DII or D-II and use it as a mark of pride (for whatever reason). D3 much the same. But I'm not totally taking up for UNA Media. They are so good at so many things and then miss others.

Lee Chapple transferred in form Ga Southern. He had a good season for the most part but was hampered by injuries to the offensive line. You still have to make satisfactory academic progress in D2. We've lost several great players (not transfers) for this reason over the years. However, many of our DI transfers have already graduated.
