Re: 2 UM football players tased and arrested

Wonder if this will affect Tru's draft position? Could this incident cost him thousands in the long run? Hardly. These things happen at Oregon all the time. Pflugrad just needs to talk to his old friend Chip Kelly on the "proper" way to deal with this, and there won't be any problems. htt...

NDSU wouldnt travel accros the river for $50,000. Exactly. Because it is probably flooded and therefore too dangerous to cross. Maybe Washington has the best run defense in the country, I dont know? Ask Nebraska. That Washington DL dominated the Huskers in the Holiday Bowl last December. One of the...

Rural? Cheney is 15 miles from the largest population center between Seattle and Minneapolis. As many people live between Cheney and Coeur d'Alene as live in the entire state of North Dakota. The whole thing lost credibility with me with his early statement, "There was a time when Portland St. outdrew both Oregon and Oregon St." I would like to see the data that supports that one. They never have been close. Years where OSU and UO both had stinker attendance: 1974 Oregon State...

Beavers were the worst program in college football in the 80's. The Ducks were mediocre until 1994. I remember the days when there were more Husky fans at Autzen Stadium than Duck fans.

The "new" guy at safety got a lot of playing time last year and was their top recruit his year. The Huskies are solid at DL and DB. LB is the greenest, but they return a three year starting team captain at one of the LB spots. On offense they are solid too. That freshman from Gig Harbor at...

Re: Pac Ten Team Selling Tickets On Groupon

Yeah, it's not the perfect location, but they don't have a 90,000 seat stadium they're trying to fill either. And it's irrelevant, anyways. If the Cougars could capture lightning in a bottle, their attentance would spike and they'd fill the (relatively small) stadium. WSU had three consecutive top ...

I had a couple of good times in Bozeman (not related to football). It really is the definition of "middle of nowhere" though. I couldn't even tell you what the nearest city of any size is... maybe Spokane? Boise? There isn't much there. You head East on I-90 out of Seattle and you hit Spo...

Greater population near Ole Miss and Miss State. Much greater local prep football talent there too. The Palouse is empty wheat fields while the countryside near Oxford and Starkville have automobile factories and air force bases. I'd say Lubbock and Manhattan are closer matches, but they are on inte...

Neuheisel got them in trouble with his lack of integrity and then they had a pair of disastrous hires that drove the program into the ground (the truth is, they hired an AD named Barbara Hedges who was responsible for overseeing all the hires and literally made every worst decision possible). Isn't Washington more of a basketball state? Wazzu, UW, and Gonzo all seem to appear in the top 25 on a regular basis. Football is easily #1 in the state of Washington. Seahawks have sold out most of their existence while the Huskies led the Pac-10 in attendance more than any other program. WSU is ...

Washington State has trouble selling tickets when they are good. They have the biggest geographical disadvantage of all the BCS schools. In hindsight, the state of Washington shouldn't have put their land grant university in rural Idaho. Neither Oregon school is in a "metropolis", yet the...

Really what choice do they have? North American aboriginals do not deserve the respect to be honored with a nickname. That's why today's progressive America is moving away from honoring these people by naming sports teams after them.

You guys just don't get it, do you. I am for a clean environment, just sick of the hijacking of common sense by money grubbers and religious wackos. Green is Universal; barf. GE is just the biggest whore out there. Sick and tired of the green religion, highlighter green Seahawks stuff, ENOUGH! That red field is really refreshing.
