When SFA's your conference rep....what do you expect? They survived a division II school in UCA last year by 3. Did much better this year, but what a depleted team. I think the SLC gets two in next year..and it won't be SFA or Texas State.

That Jones highlight reel was pretty good..but I'd be thanking my Oline for some of those runs..talk about GAPS!

There's a reason that the bowl is called "red beans and rice" bowl...it's a giant fundraiser for the Rice Depot, Arkansas biggest charitable organization to feed the hungry! Louisiana also has a need and farms that raise endless amounts of rice...the red beans is a tribute to their contrib...

McNeese @ SAM- The only game I saw of McNeese impressed me...LSU. McCowboys by 14 Northwestern @ SLU - Tough one. Northwestern finds ways to win. The lions have a good QB and lines. QB is the difference here. SLU by 3. SFA @ Nicholls- Um..do I really have to say? OK. SFA by 21 at least. UCA @ TXST....

Arkansas

Senate- Repubs displaced Blanche Lincoln and put Boozman in office. +1 for the Repubs on a national scale.
House- Repubs hold a 3-1 edge. The southern and delta parts of the state historically go Democrat.
Governor- Went to Democrat Mike Beebe..in a landslide. (Got my vote)

Must have been meltdown city! I was shocked to hear the final score! Reminds me of the UCA/Valdosta game where the Bears led by 35 at half and lost 42 to 35! You could see it happening, but could do nothing to stop it!

I know of some male cheerleaders who aren't "alternative" and actually do cheerleading because it gives a scholarship to pay for their school and the school doesn't have gymnastics or other similar types of teams. Then I also know some who.....

When I read the score, I thought this was a rehash of the SFA game earlier in the year. (Commence the onslaught of running up the score arguments)

I looked at my Bears starting roster only to realize that most of the time it WASN'T the actual kids that played during the game but rather those "starters" just started and were quickly replaced. :ugeek: Every call I heard was "freshman" this or "sophmore that" . I won...
