Re: On behalf of Charleston Southern, apologies to Citadel f
All of this discussion about seats is why I was a little surprised that they gave CSU a seed. The Citadel could have easily been seeded with their record and beating SC. But this is all part of the growing pains of trying to build a program from little investment. This is hard now but at least shoul...

Trying to figure this smack.
Since UNC-C is FBS transitional - they actually have more scholarships. They are young but stealing recruits from App State left and right.

Re: Big South Conference Week #6 predictions/comments:
I would love to disagree with this but there is a 7 year history that proves otherwise. If we get another co-champion ring this year and no playoffs, it's going to be hard to do this all again next year. You guys got screwed last year. LU deserved an at large bid. No they didn't. They only had 6 DI...

Re: Big South and SoCon should merge
No point in merging - as others have said. No championship game, lose an auto bid. I know this won't happen either, but I'd rather see the larger schools get together and let the smaller schools get together. UTC, WCU, ETSU, Coastal, Liberty, KSU then find a couple more to get to 8. I know it is a p...

Re: Gardner Webb @ Citadel: Should I go to this game?
Did this really require a thread? I have absolutely no emotional stake in your decision to travel to a football game. Im asking if anyone has seen GWU play. How did they look? The Big South Network has game archives - so you can check out their home games there. The Wofford game is already up there.

Re: The Citadel @ Charleston Southern
I know how you can get Citadel fans to attend the game - same way they attend their home games, give away tickets at sandwich shops and tire centers.

Re: The Citadel @ Charleston Southern
Charleston Southern's Defensive Line Proves Doubters Wrong After three games, Charleston Southern's defense is allowing just 66 yards rushing per game and 199 total yards per game, which ranks first nationally among FCS schools . One of the biggest reasons for the early success is the veteran defen...

Re: Chuck South vs Campbell
Chuck South finally woke up in the 2nd half and won it 34-10. Campbell is a pretty tough team for a non-scholarship team. No, Campbell is not a pretty tough team, even for a non-scholarship team. They have 18 total wins in 6 seasons and have never beaten a DI scholarship team. I saw a play last nig...
