Re: Coronavirus COVID-19

A little less than half as many active cases as Minnesota, with approx 1/8 the population of Minnesota. It was bound to happen sooner or later as every area goes through either 1 big spike or a couple of smaller ones. As long as the hospitalizations stay low (this seems to be a younger age group te...

Re: Hey Seattle and Portland.....

I always felt that if Kaepernick had gotten out in front of the narrative and said he wanted to protest, but still show respect by kneeling for the national anthem, people would have bought it. Of course keeping his rhetoric down, would have helped as well. I don't think Kaepernick made the necessa...

Re: All Things California

I'm trying to understand what the future would look like. Would every parking space at a hotel require a charging station? I foresee an other charge on my hotel statements for power used. Or have a quick charging "station" similar to a gas station where one can get a mostly complete charge in 10 or...

Re: Hey Seattle and Portland.....

I was waiting for someone to go "hood" on these fake ass protesters. If Soros and the Democrats are funding these types and they’rejust the militant arm of the party like I’ve been told, they’re not doing a very good job with hearts and minds. Are the protests/riots politically motivated, or ...

This is going to make bordering states car dealerships happy. Also my best wishes to future Cali EV owners in keeping their vehicle charged with the cuts to power generation and a fracking ban. :coffee: True, but the 2035 ban will force auto manufacturers to start selling more electric vehicles now...

Are we though? I don't really see many posts saying anything positive about Trump. Quite a few posts trying to say how good Biden is, though.
Good point ... Here we are, arguing about which pile of sh!t doesn't smell as bad the other.

Ok GF, you do you. I don't doubt Biden isn't as sprite or quick-witted anymore - that comes with age - but you're not going to sit here and convince me that something I can see with my own eyes and hear with my own ears - day after day - is something different than it is. I listen to the the town h...

It was just last year that Washington lead 17-0 in Philly only to blow the lead and lose. Hard to win on the road in the NFC East.
Yeah, crowd noise was brutal yesterday.
Well, that was meant as sarcasm. The fact is that it is hard to win anywhere if you are in the NFC East.

Wellness check on 93. Any word on his mental state. Yeah, the Eagles looked like an incipient dumpster fire. The OL basically has nobody at this point, and Carson Wentz's inability to throw accurately really came back to bite the team yesterday. Up 17-0, Eagles had a chance to score before the half...

I'm pretty sure what they did was take 250,000 and multiply it by an average hospitalization cost. That would be ridiculous because only a small fraction of them would require hospitalization. And of that fraction, not all are using "public health costs". So fuck that guy. That would be about $50/c...

So you haven't given that number any thought? Or questioned the definition of "public health costs"? :ohno: Yes and yes. Someone already addressed it.
