NYC cops shoot everything but their target

Post by ASUG8 »

JFC guys...go to the range more often. :ohno:
NYPD officers fired three shots on a crowded Manhattan street near Times Square on Saturday night, missing the man they believed had a weapon but striking two bystanders, police said.
Police said officers saw a man on foot weaving erratically through traffic and sometimes blocking vehicles. After approaching him, police said, the man reached into his pocket as if grabbing a weapon, and two officers fired a total of three shots. They missed him but struck a 54-year-old woman in the right knee and a grazed a 35-year-old woman in the buttocks, police said.

I was there about an hour or two later.

First problem: Why would you do that to yourself ASUG6.93?

Second: NYC cops have been training with the LAPD for years. Good to see all of those firearms classes have finally paid off.

We didn't know about the shooting until the next day. I counted 14 police vehicles at our hotel intersection alone the next morning and they were loading up in vans for some reason.

No...the NYC visit. Glad you had fun, but I will look down on you from now on due to your poor decision. ;)

8-)
Great place to visit, but wouldn't want to live there. They have a magical way of separating you from your money there. :ohno:
