Fireball in sky over Iowa
Rumors stand from one of Chuck Norris' round house kicks to a cover-up about it being a meteor shower.

But Iowa started it. Iowa is the greatest, and don't you forget it!

I always wondered why certain religions bowed multiple times in a certain direction....they were always bowing toward the Great State of Iowa.

Re: Fireball in sky over Iowa
My wife and I were up in Chester, Nova Scotia for Race Week about 8 years ago and late at night I looked up and saw a fireball slowly moving across the sky. Weird...it just meandered along at a relatively slow pace and you could see it "skipping" off the atmosphere (it would flare up a bit, and then "cool off") and it stayed in sight for about 15-20 seconds - enough time for me to point it out to several other folks. Later, someone read that it could be seen across New England and New York.
There was a commercial plane at a high altitude flying on an opposite course...way off scale and not even close to any collision, but I've always wondered what the view was like for the pilots...they had to see the large glow.

They were probrably not Iowigians, so they could not even begin to take in the awesomeness due to their mere human bodies.

You are mistaking a "gay rainbow" for a fireball. Or maybe you are thinking of this.....

How do you tell if a rainbow is gay?
If it has a gay guy inside it?
