I think there's a lot of very good players out there who don't have a lot of professional options if they aren't quite good enough for the NFL.kalm wrote:I watched yesterday for a few minutes and the talent was surprisingly good.

There are around 2000 players that make up NFL rosters. At least 1000 of them are interchangeable with guys not on rosters.Grizalltheway wrote:I think there's a lot of very good players out there who don't have a lot of professional options if they aren't quite good enough for the NFL.kalm wrote:I watched yesterday for a few minutes and the talent was surprisingly good.
I heard an announcer say that 81% of the league's players spent time in NFL rosters (not sure what that means - regular season only or camps and/or OTA's).

I don't understand why they put teams in cities with at least one NFL franchise. Give the REST of America a fucking chance. Atlanta & Phoenix franchises should be moved. Maybe give Cleveland a shot...

It would be great if San Diego outdraws the Chargers.

Question: Will these be a league guys can join right out of high school so they can earn money until they're old enough for the NFL draft?

You know, I thought about making a smarmy remark regarding yours and 93’s FCS bitterness, and decided to be nice instead. But since you mentioned it...Wazzu just got a grey shirt transfer QB from EWU who they feel has a shot at replacing the FBS leading passer from 2018. JMU and NDSU both poached multiple 3 star recruits from P5’s. Portland State nabs a 6’5” 240 lb DE from Auburn, WA with offers from Michigan, Oregon, Oregon St. Utah, Utah State, and Hawaii.89Hen wrote:You're not a very good judge of talent so....kalm wrote:I watched yesterday for a few minutes and the talent was surprisingly good.
Loads of present and future talent in FCS.
Btw, I didn’t understand the gist of your pic.

What bitterness? We love FCS and wish it was as good as it was ten years ago before it became depleted and one team started winning every championship.kalm wrote:I thought about making a smarmy remark regarding yours and 93’s FCS bitterness

One of my initial thoughts was rock salt which is clearly what that is but I couldn’t make it fit in as part of the discussion or even a lame attempt smack by you.89Hen wrote:Didn't we already have this discussion?kalm wrote:But since you mentioned it...Wazzu just got a grey shirt transfer QB from EWU who they feel has a shot at replacing the FBS leading passer from 2018.
