Karim Hunt should lie and say the woman used a racial slur. That'll get sympathy back to him no matter how much he hurt the woman.

Philip Rivers and his wife are now expecting their ninth child
https://sports.yahoo.com/philip-rivers- ... 42382.htmlRivers and his wife Tiffany are expecting their ninth child.
That’s a lot of children! Obviously, power to the Rivers family, who are free to family plan as they wish, especially when the father is pulling in an eight-figure salary. Rivers, a devout Catholic, and his wife began dating in middle school and already have six daughters and two sons.

Kap won't play again, ever. If he came back and wasn't any good it would ruin his whole narrative about being shut out of the league only for his political actions. If he came back and sucked people would start throwing out the idea that he wasn't that good of a QB to begin with, that he was more a system guy and that guy who runs that system is in Ann Arbor right now. He's got nothing to win and everything to lose if he came back. Probably why he turned down Baltimore a few years back.93henfan wrote:Have the Skins called Kap yet?

He was like an option QB - it surprised people when they threw the ball. That QB rating puts him right there with such greats as Andy Dalton and Matt Schaub - luckily Kap didn't have to play the past few years and have those stats diminish.Gil Dobie wrote:All-Time TD to INT Ratio leaders G, INT, TD, td/int, RatingGannonFan wrote:

I guess that is why Kap wore a Castro shirt when he talked to the Dolphins. He is making a ton from Nike, really has no need or interest to play.

He also was among the fastest players on the field at any given moment
So if his first option was covered he'd just scramble
he had his value...
in Harbaughs smash mouth option style college offense Kaepernick was pure gold

Especially with the defense the 49'ers had in those years. The whole idea of the offense was not to lose the game. Kap did great in that. I bet Kap was rooting for Ohio St to win again this year in the hope that Harbaugh comes back to the pro game and gives him a call. But then again, Kap doesn't want to play anymore, it would hurt his brand if he got back on the field.Chizzang wrote:Agreed,GannonFan wrote:

Good points here. Why would he play? He had a successful (if short) NFL career, his net worth is probably close to $50 million now, he's minimizing his chances of brain injury and a broken body, and he is still causing righteous indignation a few years after the the protest.GannonFan wrote:Especially with the defense the 49'ers had in those years. Re: 2018 NFL Season Thread
Indeed. The whole point of playing pro football is to make enough money quickly so that you can retire from playing pro football. I think Kap is doing just fine in terms of money, no need to take a smallish salary and stand on a sideline with a cap on while waiting for Sanchez to crumble. And again, why ruin the image?kalm wrote:Good points here. Why would he play? He does not want to play, he had a chance with the Ravens and Dolphins, but did something outrageous in each instance to prevent it.
