Have the Oakland Raider quit...
Did we just watch a team quit on their coach last night...
Those of us that actually bothered to watch two teams with a single win each
I can't remember seeing a team visibly quit except maybe a JETS team from 20 years ago

I was thinking that too, except that Gruden didn't seem to mind at all - as if this was all part of the grand tank-and-rebuild-in-Vegas plan started when they unloaded Mack...

Yup. Chucky has a 10-year deal. They have 3 first round picks next year.

They'll be fighting for second place in their division in three or four years if all goes as planned.

I just feel sorry for the Oakland fan base. One of the most loyal in sports, and they get shat upon by Gruden.
Vegas fans are just LA Ram fans with more hookers and blow. And Eyetalian pinky rings and money clips.

They may be loyal but they don't travel...Ivytalk wrote:I just feel sorry for the Oakland fan base. One of the most loyal in sports, and they get shat upon by Gruden.
3/4ths of them would need their PO's permission to leave CA

Would you play for a HC that got rid of the best defensive player on your team with your top WR and attacked your QB!!!!!!Rob Iola wrote:I was thinking that too, except that Gruden didn't seem to mind at all - as if this was all part of the grand tank-and-rebuild-in-Vegas plan started when they unloaded Mack...

Eh, they'll do fine in Vegas. Get the press of the first overall pick, they'll have the stadium packed in Vegas, and in the NFL everything turns over in a couple of years anyways, unless you're Cleveland or the Jets and then you always suck.93henfan wrote:Trust the process.GannonFan wrote:Yup, just waiting to jump the plane to Vegas and then start trying again. I'm sorry. I should have explained, that was a Sixers joke.GannonFan wrote:Eh, they'll do fine in Vegas. The Raiders process may actually build a championship team, or at least one that can win its conference. That's if they don't fultz up their picks.

Re: Have the Oakland Raider quit...
Oh, I knew it was a Sixers joke, I just selected to ignore it. Sixers are far more watchable now than they were in the post AI-era when they were struggling to be the 8th seed every year. Even with the Fultz debacle. Should've never buckled to the NBA and fired Hinkie - he wouldn't have bungled that Fultz trade like the golden boy with the burner accounts did.93henfan wrote:I'm sorry.
