Green Bay Packers legend died today he was 83 this was mentioned on sports radio WFAN(NY)

Old Jim Taylor was losing it a little toward the end. He always thought he was in one of the Carolinas. He wouldn't say which.

I bet it was North Carolina though.

Giving away my age, but I remember him, Hornung and Starr in the backfield and Kramer and Thurston on the o line. Those were great teams.

Taylor&Hornung were drinking buddies in their playing days.
A friend of mine stole a bottle of Cutty Sark from Hornungs car, back in his college days. Told him later in life, and Hornung signed a photo, "To the guy who stole my Cutty".
