But that's part of the process.93henfan wrote:Now that the Sixers have built their roster, I fully support the NBA's anti-tanking efforts.
It really compromises the integrity of the game and should be stopped immediately.

Sixers bring it back to Philly up 3-1 over Miami. Tight game, but Sixers gave themselves some room at the start of the 4th and hung on.
Absolutely filthy jam by Simmons with 58 secs left, and then a smooth 20+ footer by Redick a few seconds later and a couple of free throws to seal the deal.

Will see if Harden gets his 22 carries and how many yards he rushes tonight.

Wolves looked good beating the top seed last night. See if they can do it a second time tomorrow night.
Re: 2017-18 NBA Season
Game 2 was a mess but honestly the Wolves have looked the better team for 80% of game 1 and had a 4th quarter lead and game 3.

Agreed. And I thought they only did that in Toronto.AshevilleApp wrote:Full beers? What a waste. Bunch of cretins.clenz wrote: Meanwhile Flyer fans were throwing full beers, fish, and food on the ice in Philly as they were getting eliminated

Must have been a Toronto fan that thru a beer at Rocket Ismail, 1991 Grey Cup game I was at. He ran back a kick, and a beer nearly hit him at the 7 yard line. Would have felt it too, 0 degrees at game time. Fun time though, despite the cold.89Hen wrote:Agreed. And I thought they only did that in Toronto.AshevilleApp wrote:

Just noticed Toronto owners John Candy and Wayne Gretzky celebrating. Saw Wayne's wife Janet over by the heater most of the afternoon.

Wolves lose it in the 3rd quarter. Need a big win in Houston.

So, I just started watching the NBA this year.
Is a long layoff good or bad?

You might get to see this SIXERS-CAVS matchup in the Eastern Conference Finals because of last night.LeBron 44-10-8 beyond unreal!!!!!STEPHEN A.SMITH said the Sixers are headed for the Eastern finals.GannonFan wrote:I almost wanted to title this the "Trust the Process" season. Embiid finally plays in the preseason last night and drops 22 points in 14 minutes and is just dominant. Sixers also see Saric show up. Should be a fun year for the Sixers. Bring on the Cavs!

With a little help from the refs. They missed a foul and a goal tending at the end of the game, that basically gave the Cavs the win.dal4018 wrote:You might get to see this SIXERS-CAVS matchup in the Eastern Conference Finals because of last night.LeBron 44-10-8 beyond unreal!!!!!STEPHEN A.SMITH said the Sixers are headed for the Eastern finals.GannonFan wrote:I almost wanted to title this the "Trust the Process" season. Re: 2017-18 NBA Season
Hey LeBron hits the clutch three at the end - great shot - can't take that away from him. My question is on the block/goaltend. The ball clearly hits the backboard first which makes it an automatic goaltend - LeBron said after the game it was a goaltend, but the refs don't. And after the play the Cavs call timeout & it doesn't even get reviewed? How?Gil Dobie wrote:With a little help from the refs. All part of the NBA script I guess, setting up an Eastern Conference Final where the students dismiss the teacher.

Sixers come out looking like hot garbage in the first half in Boston. Cold as ice from three point land. Long layoff wasn't kind.
