It really compromises the integrity of the game and should be stopped immediately.

But that's part of the process.

Sixers bring it back to Philly up 3-1 over Miami. Tight game, but Sixers gave themselves some room at the start of the 4th and hung on.

Absolutely filthy jam by Simmons with 58 secs left, and then a smooth 20+ footer by Redick a few seconds later and a couple of free throws to seal the deal.

Will see if Harden gets his 22 carries and how many yards he rushes tonight.

Wolves looked good beating the top seed last night. See if they can do it a second time tomorrow night.

Game 2 was a mess but honestly the Wolves have looked the better team for 80% of game 1 and had a 4th quarter lead and game 3.

Meanwhile Flyer fans were throwing full beers, fish, and food on the ice in Philly as they were getting eliminated

Maybe....just maybe....stereotypes involve some truth.

Agreed. And I thought they only did that in Toronto.

Must have been a Toronto fan that thru a beer at Rocket Ismail, 1991 Grey Cup game I was at. He ran back a kick, and a beer nearly hit him at the 7 yard line. Would have felt it too, 0 degrees at game time. Fun time though, despite the cold.

Just noticed Toronto owners John Candy and Wayne Gretzky celebrating. Saw Wayne's wife Janet over by the heater most of the afternoon.

So, I just started watching the NBA this year.

Is a long layoff good or bad?

You might get to see this SIXERS-CAVS matchup in the Eastern Conference Finals because of last night.LeBron 44-10-8 beyond unreal!!!!!STEPHEN A.SMITH said the Sixers are headed for the Eastern finals.

With a little help from the refs. They missed a foul and a goal tending at the end of the game, that basically gave the Cavs the win.

Hey LeBron hits the clutch three at the end - great shot - can't take that away from him. My question is on the block/goaltend. The ball clearly hits the backboard first which makes it an automatic goaltend - LeBron said after the game it was a goaltend, but the refs don't. And after the play the Cavs call timeout & it doesn't even get reviewed? How?

All part of the NBA script I guess, setting up an Eastern Conference Final where the students dismiss the teacher.

Sixers are hot, like Golden State was a few years back when they first won.

Sixers come out looking like hot garbage in the first half in Boston. Cold as ice from three point land. Long layoff wasn't kind.
