I don't think it has to do anything with midwest folks and everything to do with asshole Philadelphia fans. Why on Earth would anyone go to an Eagles game wearing other teams colors??? 89 is right. I went to a Skins game at FedEx and their fans are horrible. Wasn’t even an Eagles game. It was the Tennessee Titans. I was there with a friend of the Skins kicker and we had player family tickets. I watched Titans fans get heckled and intimidated mercilessly. I wanted to punch one asshole who was yelling through a bullhorn, drunk off his ass, in the parking lot. Scum.

Happens everywhere. I wonder if you've even been to a Redskins game if you think the same kind of stuff doesn't happen there to opposing fans. With the way the Redskins have played in the past two decades, it is possible you haven't been there. But it happens everywhere - the LA Dodger parking lot is well known for it's criminal pummeling of opposing fans. I'm not sure that Giant fan ever got out of the hospital that was put there in a coma a few years ago. Bears fans peppered the field and officials with beer bottles when a call went against them late in a game. Arizona Diamondback fans stopped a playoff game for 15 minutes after heaping trash on the field (at opposing players) because they were unhappy. New York fans drilled a coach with a iced snow ball and knocked him out. The list goes on and you can fill thousands of pages of YouTube videos that don't include anything about Philly. But again, we get it, the Skins suck and you're acting out. We forgive you Andy.

So what if Foles wins the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl MVP? I'd like to think Philly would have a QB controversy on their hands. But I know what will happen. The Skins will pay him huge money and let Cousins go to Denver. Foles will go back to mediocrity and the Skins will have buttfucked themselves once again.

Won't know till we get closer - early word is Wentz could be back by July/August and he could be starting then by September on day 1. Obviously, the fact that Foles can operate like a top level QB will make any need to rush Wentz back a little less urgent. This is Wentz's team, no doubt, but the Eagles won't fall apart if Foles needs to play a game or two.
