Ever since election night, when Ana Navarro, before any results were known, was almost literally foaming at the mouth over her joy that the Latino vote would defeat Trump only to have her descend into a fit of madness when it became clear that Trump won, and when that Van Jones guy literally cried on the set when he worried about what the next day would look like with Trump as the President-elect, CNN has been in full crisis mode regarding anything Trump. Hell, even the worst mass shooting in US history becomes an afterthought in two weeks when you flood the news cycle with constant noise. I remember the name Lee Harvey Oswald and Charles Whitman, but I’ve already forgotten the name of the Vegas shooter.
I’m sure there have been many books written on how to generate apathy in a culture and by golly have they succeeded.

A federal grand jury in Washington on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter.
The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are.
