The Falcons have offered a conditional second round pick to the Whiners for NDSU QB Trey Lance. Sounds like SF will slow-play this, hoping for a better deal....

They laid a 30-12 smackdown on the Giants yesterday.SuperHornet wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 6:47 pm The Falcons have offered a conditional second round pick to the Whiners for NDSU QB Trey Lance. Sounds like SF will slow-play this, hoping for a better deal....
Eh, that's a bad Giants team that didn't have Saquon. And even then, it was still a one score game into the 4th quarter. This was a Giants team that lost 40-0 in the first week and then was down 21 points to maybe the worst team in the league, the Cardinals, just last week. The Niners didn't seem to be into it last night, they let the Giants hang around way too long. A "W" is a "W" though, no matter how you get it.dal4018 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 2:05 amThey laid a 30-12 smackdown on the Giants yesterday.SuperHornet wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 6:47 pm The Falcons have offered a conditional second round pick to the Whiners for NDSU QB Trey Lance. I listen to sports radio WFAN NY and they were asking questions about the defense and why they played so poorly the Giants DC had their star DE dropping in pass coverage when he should have been rushing the passer instead.GannonFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 6:08 amEh, that's a bad Giants team that didn't have Saquon. I didn't watch that closely last night. It's not uncommon to have a hand-on-the-ground DE then back off into coverage after a snap. Fans calling into a radio station often complain about an instance but don't then look at the bigger picture or how often that thing actually happened. I doubt he was playing in coverage most of the game.dal4018 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 9:03 amI listen to sports radio WFAN NY and they were asking questions about the defense and why they played so poorly the Giants DC had their star DE dropping in pass coverage when he should have been rushing the passer instead.GannonFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 6:08 am

It was Thibodeau. They had him dropping back occasionally to try and keep the offense guessing.GannonFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 1:02 pmI didn't watch that closely last night. The Giants picked him to be the star pass rusher.GannonFan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 1:02 pmI didn't watch that closely last night. Yes it was Thibodeau they took him on the premise that he was a Lawrence Taylor type player on defense. They wanted him to be MICAH PARSONS.UNI88 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 5:17 pmIt was Thibodeau. Shocking that the Giants have been working on fixing their offensive line for the better part of the last decade and they still suck. Between drafting and coaching it has been a complete and utter failure. As an Eagles fan, I appreciate the focus and the commitment by the Giants to be that bad at such a critical area on the field.

I listen to sports radio WFAN NY and the Giants O-LINE are getting verbally creamed on the air after what happened vs Seattle.GannonFan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2023 6:17 amShocking that the Giants have been working on fixing their offensive line for the better part of the last decade and they still suck.
