Yes. Plus, his old man was a Blue Hen.
Re: Mike Trout
Would look good in pinstripes. Red ones, of course.

Re: Mike Trout
I'll take Johnny Bench even at his advanced age over Trout.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

The funniest thing about that graphic is that the Mets aren't even mentioned.CAA Flagship wrote:He's from solid red area, so yeah. I'm from that southernmost area of gray.Grizalltheway wrote: Philly fan.

Re: Mike Trout
Trout plays on the West Coast so people in the East are going to bed around the time most of his games start.
According to baseballreference.com, Trout's most appropriate historical comparison is Mickey Mantle.
Measured by OPS+, Mantle was baseball's best player from 1955 through 1964 -- an historically long run as baseball's best player. In eight of those ten seasons, Mantle led the majors in OPS.
Trout has already led MLB in OPS+ in five of the last seven seasons.
For his career, Trout has an OPS+ of 175. He is tied for 5th all-time with Rogers Hornsby, and leads Mantle by three (172). The players ahead of him are Ruth, Williams, Bonds & Gehrig.
He has been MLB's best player for seven seasons now, and he's only 27. It seems almost a given that he will extend his run as MLB's best player for a number of years to come.
What was the question?
