The Vikings came into the Linc last year for the NFC Championship Game with a 14-3 record. If they lose tonight to the Rams they'll limp back into the Linc next Sunday with a 1-3-1 record since.

Can I ask why kneeling is considered disrespectful? People kneel to show respect for their god(s), monarch, etc. Turning your back to the flag is disrespectful. I don't think kneeling while facing the flag is. This has been blown out of proportion by yahoos itching for something to bitch & fight about.

Also - the message has been distorted. The players are kneeling during the National Anthem to protest the treatment of blacks (I don't quite understand that logic but that's it.) They are NOT protesting the national anthem or the flag. It's not a matter of patriotism.

Besides - you'd think this would be something that the right would love. Look at these people exercising their 1A right to peacefully protest. It's a great lesson.

that isn’t the issue, numbnutz. It’s the connection between the Anthem and the deaths of black men. What’s the connection between those deaths and rich, black men kneeling for a few minutes before they play a game which makes their white owners more wealthy?


many of the successful protests of the 50s and 60s involved blacks staging protests by violating the Jim Crow laws (parks, Greensboro). There was a connection.

The Redskins are in an unusual position for them right now...
And that is - They aren't hamstrung with a half dozen ridiculous contracts
add to that they've only got $6 Mil in dead money which is a 15 year low for them
and $10 Mil in overall Cap space
