Pretty damn exciting US Grand Prix, even though Hamilton wasn't able to clinch. Nice to see Raikkonen finally get another victory.

Great day in racing, at least at my house. Hamilton wins the F1 championship and Logano is the first driver in the final four:

Truex passed Logano clean.
Logano had to play dirty to pass with a quarter lap to go. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

Don't be a snowflake like Truex.

Moving a guy out of the groove at Martinsville is fair game. Has been for 60 years. Ask Richard Petty, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt, etc.

If they're going to set up this gimmick of a playoff system and give one guy way more points than another guy, the guy with less points has to go for the win. He doesn't have the luxury of a head start.

Exactly. When Kyle moves Logano out of his way next week into a wall I will be happy.

If Kyle wrecks him at Texas and Truex wrecks him at Phoenix, I don't really care. He's in the final four regardless.

Now, if Truex wants to try him at Homestead, I'm sure Brad Keselowski or Ryan Blaney would be more than happy to settle the score for their Penske teammate. Bring it on, snowflake.

Is this real racing, or that redneck 500 mile left turn racing?

This was the redneck 263 mile left turn race. Winner gets a grandfather clock!

In fact, the redneck from Connecticut beat the redneck from New Jersey. :coffee:

Bump and run at a NASCAR short track has never been considered "dirty" by anyone except the loser.

There's a huge difference between a bump and run and dumping. Truex could have still won the race if he kept his cool.

Harvick got a huge penalty dropped on his head. He will have do work this week to make the final.

That was a tough one. In a pure driving sense, Ocon had position. In the sense that Max was leading, Esteban was a lap down, and Max doesn't win every week, I think the penalty was appropriate.

I am not speaking to the penalty. But if I was, like you said Ocan had the position and was all the way over on the right curb when Verstappen decided to turn down into him.
That being said, Verstappen walking off the stage and leaving was a BITCH move. :ohno: :thumb:

I'm just glad a good old Yankee is the NASCAR champ.

I know fans are VERY passionate about their drivers and heritage and all that stuff, but after Gordon retired I only started rooting for Joey because of the ridiculous amount of times I'd hear people hating him because he was a rich boy from the North lol.
