Red Sox looking tough, but I think Houston will give them a run when they get everyone back.

They better not have ruled that a HR. There were TWO errors on that one play.

Oh, and the D-Backs continue to give their fans false hope....leading the division by 1 game on 8/15... :ohno: :ohno:

Uh, that's why they called it a "Little League" homerun, because it wasn't technically scored as a home run. :coffee:

Should be 3 base error and 1 base error. How in the world would anyone assume the guy should have been thrown out at third? :ohno: :ohno:

Don't worry, the Phils might be able to pull them back into the race. The inability of the Phillies to actually hit the ball might be finally coming home to roost.

Looking at Roid Sox, Yankees, Indians or Astros to win the World Series. National League leaders don't look so strong this year, but you never know.

Red Sox hit 90 wins today with a 7-0 beating of the Cleveland Indians in an afternoon contest...

No other team in the Majors has hit 80 wins...

I know there is a way to go, but DAMN, this team just continues to win...

It really is unbelievable, considering the team with the second best record in baseball is 9.5 games behind them.

Red Sox have been amazing. Rockies pull within one game of the Snakes today in walk off fashion. Ian Desmond hit a 2 run dinger for the win.

Just have to be careful and not pull a Mariners - have a historic regular season and then not only not win the World Series, but not even get there. :coffee:

Nola outpitched him (8.0 IP, 0 ER, 9K, 1BB). I left work early yesterday and actually caught the last couple of innings on the radio. Sounded like a mostly Philly crowd in DC.

Most Philly fans are unemployed, so yeah, a day game would have more. 8-)

That and Washington fans have no passion. Hence the couple of hundred thousand tops at the Caps victory celebration. Don’t get me wrong, I was glad Washington fans under 30 finally got to see a celebration, but DC just doesn’t have real sports fans like Philly, NY, Boston, Pittsburgh, etc.

Just one more reason DC sucks balls.

That's not even original, you're stealing Lee Elia's material about Cubs fans. If you're going to be something, at least be original. :coffee:
