Every minute you waste not canvassing is a potential lost vote. How will you ever turn Arizona blue or repeal the Bill of Rights when you lack focus?

I hire illegals to do most of that.

Plus, baseball is great - I have time to make calls in-between pitches.
Dback overhead smash FTW!

You wish you could play the Dodgers more. They're a hot mess.
They are.

But the Dbacks are out: 2 Starting Pitchers, 1 main reliever, starting 3B, and just got back starting RF.

Matt Adams :notworthy:

Last 9 games he is 11 for 29 (.379) with 7 HR and 13 RBI. Roids finally kicking in I guess. This could spell the end of Ryan Zimmerman as a starter for the Nats.

Nats are hottest team in NL and are still missing Murphy and Eaton. Rendon came back last night and was 2 for 4 with a double, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI and 1 BB. IF Murphy comes back soon and can back up to speed, the Nats will run away with the East. My guess is Braves will go all in and try to get Machado from the O's and some other help. Mets are toast. Phils are a year or two early.

Phils aren't going to go out of their way to make a push this year - if they're competitive with the guys they have they'd be more than happy. They're focused on the free agents after this season - Machado and Harper are guys they could throw a boatload of money after. Trout's not an UFA until 2021 so they won't wait that long.

Machado will be dealt LONG before he hits the FA market. O's are second worst record in baseball. They will need to move him for something. Phils are not a candidate AFAIK.

Depends on what contract he wants to sign of course - that will impact the ability to trade him.

Agreed on the uniforms. Can’t stand this rotation of different uniforms every single day. I am old school, and love the simplicity of the Dodgers, Cubs, Yankees, Giants, etc. I HATE the 78 different uniform combinations.
Twins starting pitcher selects uniform color each day.
That is the way Rockies do it also.

The Tigers score 3 off of Bruce Rondon in the 8th for a comeback win against the White Socks. Glad he sucks for a different team now.

(Little victories define a rebuilding season. )

Mookie Betts can’t stand having someone tied with him for the HR lead...

J.D. Martinez hits his 16th...so Betts hit’s his 17th...

I’m sure glad they play for the same team... :notworthy:

Still the best record in baseball...

Gardy says he has started the process with the Tigers. Not doing too bad in a rebuilding year, with José Miguel Cabrera Torres sidelined.

Maybe the outdoor teams.

The one that plays on ice needs a goalie and a soul, and the one that plays on wood may lose its president/GM due to his wife creating fake Twitter accounts to berate his players. Wtf? 76ers

Starting to look like that. If the Rockies can win a weak division, I will take it with joy.

How in the world can Brian Shaw, Jake McGee, and Mike Dung suck so bad? They have blown leads in multiple games the last week, most on the road. Tonight was the worst, on Fox so everyone in the world can see it.
