I could see Martinez, Mussina, and Schilling, from the rest on this list, getting into the Hall in future years. Maybe Vizquel. I'm fine with the others not making it, especially the two PED users.

Larry Walker is often over-looked because of his Colorado Stats. 3 time batting champ, .313 lifetime average is pretty good. Like most non-roid players, his stats dropped after age 35.

I always liked Walker, but I do overlook him because of the Colorado thing.

As they should be - it will be a dark day if they ever get voted in. Glad to see their percentages slowing down. Morgan should give a speech every year until their years have expired.

Where in the heck is Hershiser?!?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Hershieser is considered part of the "Today's Game" grouping, while this year they were looking at "Modern Era" guys and I think you had to stop playing by the late 80's for that criteria.

I must not be remembering, what did he do to Phillie?

I'm a Braves fan - him, Justice, Glavine, Smoltz, Maddux were gods when I was growing up.

I don't get the Chipper Jones hate from a Phillies perspective. We (the Phillies) weren't good for most of his career so it mattered little what he did when playing against us. We were good in '93 and then started to be good again by '05 or '06. The Braves were good during the 90's and early '00's but faded and weren't a factor once the Phillies got good. Like two ships passing in the night.

Exactly.
The two teams were the NL East champs on an off for a long time...but the hate between the Braves and Mets is so much deeper. I don't really consider any hatred between ATL and Philly. That's a good rivalry for the top of the division. :twocents:

Nobody likes the Mets. And thankfully, most of the time they suck. :thumb:
