I'm kinda liking this clothing-optional ice dancing "sport" - surprised they haven't added a pole to the middle of the ice. They just need to serve crazy-overpriced drinks and encourage making it rain...

Just for perspective...

In the Winter Olympics, the USA has only won the gold medal count once (1932 Lake Placid) in 23 Winter Olympiads entered.

By contrast, we have won the gold medal count in 17 of the 27 Summer Olympiads we've competed in.

Now all that being said, we are still underachieving so far this year. We have finished no lower than 2nd in the Winter overall medal count in the past four games since a dismal 6th place at Nagano 1998. We're currently 6th.

Any reason why NBC was showing downhill PRACTICE when there was a hockey PLAYOFF GAME going on last night? SMH....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
