So the Vikings show that the NFL average plays out...
Even though I think most NFL pundits would consider the Vikings a little better than the Panthers
a second road game against a playoff caliber opponent is too much
The NFC gets interesting now...

In spectacular fashion...93henfan wrote:Eagles bucked the trend.
Statistically speaking second consecutive road game that falls against a division winner
is probably about 10%
Considering that across the board all NFL teams average winning that second game 15% of the time
Regardless of the opponent

The Vikes were the better team yesterday, no doubt, they just made way too many simple mistakes. If Cam would be more of a team player (i.e. not always running the ball) the Panthers might get better stats. That's their downfall - Cam wants to be the guy. He made some great plays yesterday (including that 62 yd run which he ran, half assed. WTF was that?!) but I've always thought he doesn't lean on his Offense enough, even going back to his AUburn daysChizzang wrote:So the Vikings show that the NFL average plays out...

Unfortunately the Vikings weren’t better in the scoring deptIbanez wrote:The Vikes were the better team yesterday, no doubt, they just made way too many simple mistakes. The Seahawks and the Panthers have nothing but a pair of quarterbacks...Ibanez wrote:The Vikes were the better team yesterday, no doubt, they just made way too many simple mistakes. I'll give Cam credit, he's improving and has learned some lessons from the Super Bowl loss.Chizzang wrote:The Seahawks and the Panthers have nothing but a pair of quarterbacks...Ibanez wrote: The Vikes were the better team yesterday, no doubt, they just made way too many simple mistakes. Re: 15% Chance
Well, Green Bay has their 2nd straight road game in Carolina this week. Just glad Rodgers is back. Don't really expect them to win all 3 games, but a 9-7 finish would be ok. Probably a 1% chance they win out.
