I remember his tantrum over getting drafted by the Chargers...

Manning appears to be taking it well.

He's a multi-millionaire several times over, and he has multiple Super Bowl rings. And he'll step right into a job next year (calling Jacksonville, QB needed) and make more money and could actually win games, which the Giants won't be doing for a couple of years as they discover that you really do need an offensive line and that QB's are hard to come by in the NFL today. Yes, poor Eli.

He can use the time to sign his own autographs now instead of paying someone to forge his name.

Eli will be an improvement at QB for Jacksonville after they go "One and Done" this season
and he'll come cheap too

'Member that season when both Eli and his HC were in danger of being fired at the end of the season?
But then they backed into the playoffs and somehow won the SB?
And so their jobs were safe for another year or so?
And then they didn't make the playoffs again for 5 years?
And then that HC got fired?
'Member that?

Eli has downs.

I think you've confused your Mannings....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

No - I have the right one

It was Eli who demanded to be traded to the Giants (with the help of his father) because Eli had some kind of aversion to playing in San Diego.

Since then, in a very karmic way, Eli is 0-4 vs the Chargers. Other than the Colts, SD is the only team Eli doesn't have at least one win against.
